About Freeway Manor

The area grew up after the Gulf Freeway opened in 1948, and Freeway Manor was the oldest subdivision in this part of the Edgebrook area. Most homes are one-story brick ranch houses on slab foundations, on lots of roughly 7,000 to 10,000 square feet, and the listings we checked show no HOA fee. The Freeway Manor Civic Club is active in the neighborhood.

Freeway Manor Park (2241 Bronson) and Wilson Memorial Park (100 Gilpin) are both in the area, and Hobby Airport, the Gulf Freeway and Beltway 8 are minutes away.
